This film is definitely worth the watch and has a targeted audience of all age groups , however i personally think high -school students will enjoy the movie compared the the rest of the population .

 "Lean on Me" is a very nice movie based on the true story of Joe Clark, a tough but inspirational high school principal who transformed a troubled school in Paterson, New Jersey. The movie portrays Clark's unorthodox methods and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of his students. It's a gripping story of leadership, discipline, and the importance of education. "Lean on Me" is a phrase that conveys the idea of seeking support or assistance from someone else during difficult times.   It's 1967 Paterson, New Jersey. Innovative agitating teacher Joe Clark (Morgan Freeman) is transferred from the idyllic Eastside High School so the union can get a raise. Twenty years later, the school has become a rundown urban jungle. The school is ranked last in the state. 75% of the school must pass a minimum requirement exam or the state will take over. Frank Napier  was Clark's friend and fellow teacher at the school. As superintendent of schools, he hires Clark as the new principal.
